The Legal Referral Service operated by the Association of the Bar of the City of New York provides lawyer referrals within the New York metropolitan area. iLawyer referrals outside this area are available here.

Costs: The first consultation with the attorney (up to half an hour) costs $35 for most areas of law. This referral fee is waived in cases of Personal Injury or Workers Compensation.
