hello .. i manage to get everything working.. now i do i get the script to save the form data into csv while the data is being sent to my email. thanks in advance.

I have set rwxrwxrwx for the csv file.. does not work.

i've check the full path.. and its /home/zaheed2/public_html/ ...does not work.

do i input this

$CSVDIR = "/home/zaheed2/public_html/"; ....

or alogn with the csv file name.

$CSVDIR = "/home/zaheed2/public_html/form.csv"; ....

I'm lost.. does not work.. whats going on. Need some guidance here... shed some light to me guys...

read up a bit...

but how do i do this in the form

csvfile (the name of the file you want to store values - this will be in CSVDIR) [/*]
csvcolumns (the "columns" you want in the CSV file - the fields from your form)[/*]
help. pls

Hi,

I'm glad you've figured it out. I'm just in the process of creating a HOW TO guide for CSV files....you can review that if you need more information.

No, there's no way to prevent duplicate submissions from being stored.

The reason: suppose your CSV file had 10 megabytes of data in it. Would you really want FormMail to read the whole file sequentially for each submission?
